Hotels for Baby Queen — The Fighting Cocks

Baby Queen — Bella Latham, the South Africa-born, London-based songwriter whose wry, oversharing pop soundtracked Netflix's Heartstopper and filled her 2023 debut 'Quarter Life Crisis' — plays The Fighting Cocks in Kingston upon Thames on Friday 24 July 2026. It's a Banquet Records show (doors 7pm, 18+) in the town's beloved sticky-floored rock pub, a venue a fraction of the size she normally plays, which is exactly the point: Banquet's shows trade on closeness.

Her songs are diaristic and very funny about being a mess in your twenties, and a packed pub back-room will sing every word back at her. The Fighting Cocks is a couple of minutes from Kingston station — half an hour from London Waterloo — and this is one of three Banquet shows in town that night, with Blue at Circuit and Graham Coxon in St John's Church. Stay over, pick your gig, and hit the record shop in the morning.
