You get what you pay for

Stayed here New Years Day `for something to do`... The hotel looks nice on arrival with pleasant staff but is very corporate and the rooms could do with a bit of a revamp as a few things are just tatty. Room was small, even after an upgrade, and cold. Bed was comfy enough and a decent shower. Breakfast was OK too... This is a very cheap hotel which includes breakfast so for the price is ideal for one night... Would stay again if I needed a hotel in Jesmond.

Find somewhere else

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. We booked three rooms for six days over the Christmas time, therefore have spent a considerable amount of money. The rooms are very tired looking but vary in size. My double room was tiny, the other two were reasonable. If you book a twin room you are told on the day of arrival that you are booked into an adjacent (old hotel The Carlton) but the carpark is behind the cairn. Overnight stay

Stayed overnight was enough, the room was freezing. There was a small heater but did not make much of a difference. The hotel has got worse since last time we stayed. Breakfast not great, also I have not seen a chef cooking in his coat with his hood up before in the kitchen. It’s a shame as in a good location.

Lovely stay

Had a lovely stay at the hotel room was comfy and receptionist lady so lovely shower was great and not too noisy either parking is ok but if your in first the car behind you parks in front so making it impossible to get out again so if possible try to get in last

Disgusting

Disgustingingly filthy. Mould on the windows. Bathroom so dirty I couldn’t bring myself to use it. Booked a double room for two adults which had a 3/4 bed and was tiny and looked nothing like advertised. Stay anywhere but here
