I made a flying visit to Ballybunion on my tour of Ireland

I made a flying visit to Ballybunion on my tour of Ireland. Its a place dominated by the golf course and without that there's not much there. The hotel is very dated and definitely has a 90's feel. It was very quiet and I was the only one at breakfast. That said it was clean and comfortable so served its purpose for me.

Great Stay!

The breakfast and staff were great. The location is A++. The property does not have a bar or restaurant per se, and is just a tad dated but it's perfectly adequate and in a great location.

Our stay and room was excellent!

Pros: The owner was very attentive to our needs and very pleasant to be around. The breakfast was plentiful and enjoyable. Cons: Loved everything about our stay.
