Great location, comfortable rooms, and exceptionally friendly staff.
Chapter House Hotel in South Africa is a fantastic place to stay, offering a great location with easy access to all the amenities in town. The rooms are comfortable and well-equipped, providing everything you need for a relaxing visit. What really stands out is the incredibly friendly and helpful staff, who go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. Highly recommended.
A lovely stay
We visited this lovely boutique hotel for 2 nights Nelson and his staff are all excellent and catered to all our needs Clean, spacious rooms A good selection in the bar Breakfast has plenty of options, all well served We would definitely use again
Bad experience
We made and prepaid the booking one month in advance, but at the check-in we were informed that the hotel was fully booked for the night and they organised our stay at another place. So we had to drive three more kilometres away from the city centre to a place with a completely different atmosphere from the one that we chose for our stay in Franschhoek. It was a totally disappointing experience with no explanation or prior notification from the Hotel.

Simply charming
This was our third visit to The Chapter House. It has always been excellent but is now even more of an oasis of calm and comfort. Under Nelson’s expert management, the hotel exudes charm. Staff members could not have been more obliging. Sindy in the spa works miracles! We will be back next year. Thank you.
