Nice updated hotel, but too expensive for the amenities. The staff were not very courteous, the rooms were not cleaned properly. Watch out for hidden charges without approval. Find somewhere else to stay!!

Probably better options in the area
First, the lobby is obnoxiously loud. Whether it’s the blaring music or impolite guests, the noise level reverberates throughout the entire lobby and to the floors above. Second, there was some sort of tennis tournament during our stay. There were teenagers yelling and running up and down the hallways all night long - this isn’t an exaggeration, it was well past 2:00am. I wanted to call the front desk and ask them to address the noise but the phone in our room didn’t work to place a call. I wanted to like this hotel. I will book a hotel with hard surface flooring every day of the week and it was a Marriott. The photos showed refurbished rooms but it still felt dated. The low popcorn ceilings didn’t help. The biggest issue was smell. There was a musty smell that could be mold, mildew, or possibly cigarette smoke permeating the HVAC. I had the engineer come change the filter to no avail. I was told at check-in that the hotel was full and two co-workers didn’t get their rooms until after 9:00 pm so I I
