Wonderful staff

I'm so glad that I stayed at this hotel. Location was perfect for me -- a quiet street that entered right into the Tiergarten; room and public spaces were elegant and comfortable. (Great toiletries too!) But what really stood out to me was the excellence of every staff member i interacted with -- to a person, everyone was so kind and truly welcoming. I've never thought of myself as a zoo person ... but actually, getting to enter it through the hotel, and walking around (it's a great zoo!) was a perfect pre-dinner activity on a nice day.

Very nice hotel in a great location

Pros: The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, which contributed to a very pleasant atmosphere. The decor, food, and location were very good. Cons: The furniture in the room was somewhat worn out and the ceiling under the cover was not quite clean. We also expected a slightly better view from the Embassy room. Unfortunately, we mainly saw buildings. The pool could have been a little warmer.

The view from the terrace overlooking the Tiergarten in the historic embassy district is a dream!

Pros: The entire staff made my stay special. Whether at the reception, at the front desk, at the bar, in the service, at breakfast, with valet parking, or in room service – everyone was extremely courteous, helpful, and always friendly. Cons: Only the cleanliness of the floor left something to be desired.
