This hotel was centrally located and it was very nice and clean.
Pros: The location of the hotel was perfect!! It’s near several eateries and shopping is close by as well. That allowed us to park and walk around without having to drive everywhere. Cons: Everything was fine — no complaints.
Good for a short stay near Dulles
The DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Dulles Airport-Sterling provides a decent stay near the airport. Staff were friendly and welcomed us with the classic, warm DoubleTree cookies. Although the rooms are older, mine was generally clean, though the bathroom vanity and fixtures were showing some rust. I appreciated the walk-in shower and the spacious work desk. However, there are very limited plug-ins for electronic devices near the bed s— you must plug directly into the wall behind the nightstands, unlike many properties that have added sockets and USB ports into the lamps or nightstands. Caution with Park & Fly
This hotel has decent rooms & the restaurant was good. However, when you pay for “park & fly”, understand they may not pick you up. We arrived at Dulles, got our bags & called by 10 pm on a Saturday but were told they already did a shuttle, we would have to wait an hour. Just know, if you have any issue, the front desk people cannot be bothered to help.
