Ideally placed for Brighton escape
Pros: Lovely room with a Seaview, very spacious with everything you need. Located near the bus stop to get in to Brighton. Staff helpful and friendly and great choice of breakfast which was very tasty. Cons: The outside looks a little tired but inside is amazing. It's on a main road so expect a little traffic noise, dud affect us but something to be aware of. Has good windows and air con so you can shut it out.
Great value stay just outside Brighton
Pros: Breakfast was excellent. Room was clean and comfortable. Great bus service to Brighton and free car parking. Uber would've been about £13 e/w. Great value and staff were efficient and friendly. Had a afternoon meal off the menu which was also tasty and good quality produce. Cons: Room was very warm (although 2 fans were provided which helped). Hotel is on a major road junction so could be a little noisy at times. Couldn't turn the air conditioning system on.
Pub, hôtel, restaurant, tout en un, la climatisation en plus.
Pros: Enfin un établissement qui mérite le nom d’hôtel dans le campagne anglaise. Avec la climatisation dans les chambres, un petit déjeuner à la carte, un pub sympathique, un équipement moderne et entretenu. Si vous venez en voiture, choisissez le parking de droite, plus accessible pour les valises. Cons: Pas d’eau froide, seulement de l’eau chaude, donc pression insuffisante et impossible d’utiliser la douche, mais je ne doute pas qu’il s’agit d’un problème provisoire. Un peu de bruit venant du pub le weekend, mais jusque 23h30, c’est supportable.
Terrific hidden gem of a hotel
Pros: Staff were all excellent: polite, efficient, with nothing being too much trouble. Cons: Parking was tricky in the strange shaped car park which leads people to park in silly ways. Extractor fan in the bathroom did not work which meant we had an unintentional sauna.
