Galt House Hotel, A Trademark Collection Hotel

Pleasant overnight stay in a comfortable room with everything you need for a relaxing stay.

Pros: Good location close to the town. Comfortable, clean room with good fixtures and fittings. Cons: Having to park under the East tower is a pain when you’re staying in the West. The hotel is large and a bit disjointed. We weren’t provided with vouchers at check-in for breakfast. Even though I could show the staff that we had paid for breakfast, they insisted we went back to reception for vouchers. This meant traipsing back from the far end of the West tower to reception in the East tower and back. To say I was annoyed is understatement! Archaic system or what?!!!

Parking

Pros: Location Cons: Paying for parking after having such and expensive room.

So much more than we expected!

Pros: What's not to like about this hotel! The rooms were spacious, the hotel offered many services (pool, gym, spa), the facilities were beautiful and clean. There is shopping and amenities, views of the city, a great space between the hotels with a bar and cafe, but Swizzle was our favorite part of the unexpected extras. The staff was fantastic, the food was wonderful and the views were incredible! Cons: The air conditioning vent in the room was partially behind the curtains. This resulted in the room being warm and cold while sleeping, which was uncomfortable.
