Good location for visiting our family.

Pros: Close to family. Good food. Cons: Room was too hot! And this wasn’t in the heat wave! Window wouldn’t stay open. Tired and dated room, but very clean.

Pros: Very friendly staff, lovely breakfast and a gorgeous spa in a beautiful setting. Cons: Not easy to get about! Colour coordinated routes to at least 1st and 2nd floor would be good!!!

My supposed couple days of relaxation????

Pros: The area and surroundings were beautiful Cons: The bedrooms and upstairs resembled an old people’s home, the carpets were dirty and threadbare. The bedroom needed updating. There was a fault with the alarm system and it kept going off during the night, early morning and waking me up. It was expensive to stay there and I still had to pay to use the spa facilities, the shower was operated by the bath taps, you had to turn on the cold water first, which soaked you, then turn on the hot tap and keep twiddling the taps until you get the temperature right.
