Very enjoyable and comfortable
Pros: the room and bed were wonderful. Staff were friendly and helpful. Cons: The food was not as brilliant as I was hoping. The Puttanesca with prawns should have been called Prawn Linguine. The fish and chips were very good. The breakfast was ok - but the juice and the bread could have been better

Disappointed on this occasion - rooms are beginning to look tired
Pros: Staff were excellent as always. Physical location of the hotel is lovely. Cons: We were informed just a few hours before arriving that there was a wedding taking place and that it was likely to be noisy. Our room was tiny (and I'm convinced not the one we'd pay for) and the shower room/toilet smelled terribly damp and musty. The food has always been excellent, but we were disappointed with the evening meal. Despite the hotel knowing they had around 75 people booked for breakfast, they ran out of several items by 09:00hrs. To make matters worse, my partners breakfast (cooked from the kitc
