Spa and Golf hotel is a little below par.
Pros: Spa, though quite compact, is very nicely done. Staff in the hotel were excellent. Breakfast very good. The views across the valley are beautiful. Cons: The whole place is looking tired, beds are very soft. Even the foyer which looks fairly recently overhauled, lacks the wow factor, which it could quite easily have, with a bit more thought. It's a real shame, what could be a great hotel is let down by a lack of investment.

Enjoyable stay.
Pros: Set in beautiful countryside, spacious public areas. Attentive staff. Food at dinner very nice. Cons: Problem in bathroom as water was scalding hot and we couldn’t get it to run cold. Made it difficult to wash and shower but we were given bottled water for drinking and to clean teeth.
