Fabulous room, helpful chambermaid. Sadly breakfast and service disappointing

Pros: Manager totally went out of his way to accommodate us, with a very last minute booking. Cons: Got down for breakfast, and wasn't unduly late - about 8.30 - found a table, but no explanation of how service worked No hot water, couldn't find any wait service to top it up. Waited a long time for someone to take our breakfast order, when it did come was well below par for the price we paid. No pastries left, and when we went to get toast it was already cleared away.
