Great hotel

Great hotel. If you want a new, soulless, modern hotel do NOT come here. However, if you want an historic, old-fashioned hotel with character (and that looks like a small castle) definitely do come here. The building interior is quite beautiful and some of the rooms have amazing views of the plaza below. Very rustic, old world experience. I highly recommend! (N.B. There is no air-conditioning and the hot water takes a while to heat up in the shower. But it was a great experience overall.)

This is a gem of a hotel- historic but brought up to date beautifully. The location is superb, close to all of the sights and good shopping. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. The room (we were upgraded to a suite) was delightful with a small seating area and a huge bathroom. It took a while for the hot water to come through but it's an old house !! The room at night was very warm but there was a fan and you could not expect air conditioning- again, its an old house! The TV was disappointing but you are on holiday so who wants to sit in a hotel room when there is a fabulous town to exp

Friendly and kind staff Beautiful room Great Location In my opinion they should focus on improving the look of the rooms hallway, the carpet looks dirty and old and there was a water leak from the shower. Please fix it before renting the room. No an ideal location during the summer time because there is no air conditioning.

Wonderful stay

Wonderful stay. Lovely staff. Very helpful and friendly. Beautiful room. Great location. Great breakfast. We were sorry to leave!
