Good option near the airport
We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Romerito. We arrived in the evening and received a very warm welcome. The location so close to the airport is perfect, which is why we booked. The room was smaller than average and basic, but clean. The shower was very comfortable with good water pressure. The airconditioning functioned well, but was also noisy. Bed was fine. We had a good night's sleep here. We did not have breakfast, so nothing we can say about that. What we loved very much about this hotel was the restaurant. You can sit outside in the courtyard until late (23.00) and it is nicely decorated. F
Absolute Gem of a place for a stop over.
Authentic Gem of a place Ignore the bad reviews. This is an absolute gem at an incredible price. The staff are warm, friendly & welcoming. We used as a stopover after a flight in from the UK & we arrived later than planned. Jesus & his team were so accommodating as were the restaurant staff both evening & morning. Entrecôte steak was superb as was the entrees. Far,far better than any corporate airport faceless hotel. Rooms are spotless & beds comfortable. The courtyard area is just beautiful & very Spanish, we are in their country after all. We would absolutely return when we next visit Anda

We thoroughly enjoyed the hotel, the staff, and the restaurant. But the area was a bit run down and the other restaurants were not travel friendly. We happened to be there during the Málaga Feria (fair) and THAT was an amazing experience! We walked there three evenings and just loved it. But, minus the fair, you are VERY far from anything to do or see. If you just need a hotel and no entertainment or sight-seeing, its perfect for relaxing and great meals.
