Correct hotel
Pros: No breakfast taken at the hotel, perfect location, quite a strong sewer smell in room 502. Cons: Put a fitted sheet on the bed, as the sheets constantly came off.

Pros: Quiet location, friendly staff
Pros: Quiet location, friendly staff. The hotel is a bit out of the center, but when you get down the hill to the main road, there is a safe sidewalk leading to the center. Safe even at night. Cons: The accommodation looks better in the photos than it actually is. For us, it was not a problem, but it is good to know that the furniture shows signs of use. There are not many restaurants around to have dinner, but we only stayed for one night so it was not a problem.
Simple and effective
Establishment where we hesitated before coming because of bad comments about the cleanliness of the place, but it is clean, ideally located (indeed, in Kandy, it is better to be on the heights but you lose the charm of the city, here you have both! Beginning of the heights, end of the city). Simple place, not luxurious but much more comfortable than other homestays where we stayed!
