Central comfortable hotel

Very nice, comfortable hotel in a central location. In a quiet area, but it still gets noisy at night with children playing outside the hotel until gone midnight. There's nothing the hotel can do about this, but it's worth knowing if you are a light sleeper. That's the only negative though hence the high mark as it is a lovely hotel. I would return here if I visited the area in the future.

The staff at the front gave me inconsistent response, perhaps because of their limited English ability

The staff at the front gave me inconsistent response, perhaps because of their limited English ability. For example, reserving an airport car drop-off service. The location is perfect in the old town

The location is perfect in the old town. There are many restaurants to choose from. The hotel itself was extremely clean.

First off: Baku is a beautiful city with beautiful people. I would recommend it to ANYONE. Second: My husband and I routinely stay in budget hotels. Luxury is wasted on us, plus we always find that we meet more locals this way. We really wanted to like Maajid more. It was in a perfect spot in the Old Town. We picked this place because of all the perfect ratings, and I am afraid that they may have been false. (Expedia, you might want to check on this.) When we arrived, the front desk clerk looked like he would rather eat tacks than sign us in. He looked so displeased. We get to the room and som

Great location in the city!

This was a perfect location! Right in the middle of Old City with lots to do around there as well as great food all over. Would highly recommend this hotel to others. During this time of year, the AC is off, which was the only downside but the windows opened a little bit so it cooled it down.
