Just love the place.
Very peaceful stay. Beautiful grounds. The calmness and silence are refreshing. The grounds are well kept and there is lots to discover once you walk in them. Very unique.

Pros: Mirfield Monastery is a hidden gem - not if you want an all-singing and dancing accommodation experience
Pros: Mirfield Monastery is a hidden gem - not if you want an all-singing and dancing accommodation experience. But, certainly if you want a peaceful and serene stopover for a night or even a few days. It is in a wonderful location, and the welcome, facilities and location are perfect. I put my head on the pillow and woke up 8 hours later not having moved and completely refreshed. A walk round the grounds after breakfast, and a visit to the stunning church meant I was ‘ready for the day ahead’ A great discovery, which I shall visit and use again whenever in the area. Thank you to all, particul
Wouldn’t stay there again.
Pros: Location was lovely Cons: Old bedding. Smelly pillows
Had a lovely stay
Pros: Quiet, pretty Cons: Not very clean Had to be early for breakfast otherwise milk was gone
Needs improvement
Pros: Breakfast facilities ok. Nice grounds. Cons: Very basic, room very dirty with dust everywhere. We noticed a smell of urine in the room and upon investigation we found used incontinence pads in the bin. The shower didn't drain and started to flood the bathroom. Towels like cardboard. Hot water tap not working for tea / morning coffee. I can see what the facility is trying to achieve, being part of the monastery, however, the standards need to be much better if catering to the general public.
