Great location if you’re staying in the French quarter
Pros: Location to the French quarter Cons: The rude receptionist I had to deal with when I first arrived
Pros: Location, pool Cons: Tub / shower was not working correctly, balcony door was very very difficult to open and close

Overpriced, old-fashioned but in a good location
Pros: The front lobby and exterior of this hotel look expensive but once you get to the floor of your room, you will notice how old everything is. It's time for a major renovation! Dark stained carpet and bathrooms that do not function well in terms of how the space is utilized. Cons: The pool hours sucked and it was way too small. When large groups of people gather it makes it impossible for anyone else to use. Perhaps a sign-up sheet would be helpful.
Terrible air-conditioning
Pros: Great location - walking distance to everything. The hotel looks gorgeous with a nice small pool area to escape the heat. The staff were incredibly friendly - could not fault the staff. Cons: The air-conditioning was awful. It literally felt like stepping into a sauna when we entered the room. We requested to move rooms and it was even worse in the next room so we gave up. We requested a portable fan to cool the room but it took 24 hours for the fan to arrive at our room, and then it did not cool the room at all. If you are a hot sleeper, this hotel is not for you.
