Conveniently located, slightly overpriced, bland hotel with great breakfast

Pros: The hotel is just a few minutes walk from the U metro station that is just a few stops from Alexanderplatz (to the east) and Potsdamerplatz (to the west). Excellent breakfast with a huge choice of cooked items, breads, pastries, cereals and fruit - impressive. There are self-service left luggage lockers in the dingy basement. Cons: One of the two lifts was broken during my visit (and had been for over a week) meaning tedious waits to get through the building. The basement breakfast serving area is a little dingy and was also quite stuffy and airless on the mornings that staff randomly de

Didn't sleep well as there was noise from all sides

Pros: Cheap and ok room Cons: Noisy from the staff outside with trolleys, noisy from construction workers outside, noisy air conditioning, slightly dirty poor shower

Pros: Very clean and centrally located. Cons: Only one elevator working was taking too much time during check-ins and check-outs.
