Great location for viewing the Tour de France
Pros: This is an outstanding location for visiting Southern France - especially for the Tour de France. You are literally on top of the course for the climb up to the Tourmalet - just 2k from the top. I'm sure it's excellent for skiing as well, but that wasn't our objective. The facilities were clean, spacious, but just a tad outdated. Service was excellent and the people were courteous and helpful. Overall a very good place to stay. Cons: Perhaps just a bit of updating to the decor. If you're a stickler for that, then you may want to find somewhere else to stay, which will likely be at a much
