Most Horrible Hotel Experience in Genting
I booked 2 rooms for my family and paid a total of SGD1,282 for 3 nights ($213 per room per night) from 15 Jun to 18 Jun. It was the most horrible stay in a hotel due to the following 3 reasons: 1. Check In - On the day of check-in, they allocated me 2 inter-connecting rooms at Level 9. One of the rooms was ready and we were able to check in at 2.30pm (paid extra RM5 for it). The other room was not ready due to housekeeping. However, about 45 mins later when we were about to leave the room, we were told by a staff that the guests from other room did not check out at 3pm. nothing impressive
Pros: breakfast was not included. Cons: even though they gave us a double bed unfortunately it was in the smoking zone. Room was smelly and furniture seemed old and unsightly
