Disappointing
The price I paid for booking on Hotels.com was contested by the guest house owner as being in error. After several phone calls, it was determined that this was no fault of my own, but rather a programming glitch. Yet I was made to feel responsible for this:
The room I was given was not what I had booked. There was also no safe in the room as indicated on the booking.
The room looked tired, needing some TLC maintenance (dusty rafters, sagging bed, broken chest of drawers, broken trimmings, stubborn toilet flush). The shower has no place to hang your bits while you're showering. Other than t
