Didn’t live up to the expectation

This hotel was recommended to me by my friend from Aberdeen. Booked through their own website, pictures do not match the rooms. In an excellent location just outside the train station. Some of the rooms need a bit of TLC. The first room I got booked in was terrible. No headboard for the bed, toilet cistern held together by duct tape, big massive crack in the toilet window with no safety tape put on it, water flowed over from the sink and took forever to drain, and no USB sockets but they do have adapters available. Can understand why there are more bad reviews than good reviews for this hotel, including the fact it is 3-star. Do not waste your money here. It’s a 50/50 bet on if you’re going to get your money’s worth because they are desperate to take it from you

Nice Hotel

My husband and I recently stayed at the Station Hotel, Aberdeen to celebrate my birthday. The Hotel was very central to where we wanted to be, with restaurants, bars, and theatres all in close proximity. We stayed in a Superior Room, and it was very nice, dressing gowns and slippers, etc. provided. Breakfast was buffet style, hot and cold and okay. The only observation I would make is that check-in time was 3 pm, we arrived early at 2 pm and although our room was ready, if we wanted to check in early we would require to pay £10.00 for the privilege of doing so. Disappointed

I booked a room with a walk-in shower due to my wife’s mobility problems, when I arrived I was given a room on the third floor with a small bathroom with the shower over the bathroom. Although the room was clean and newly painted (by the smell) it was very basic, and the furniture was very dated. The only mirror was in the bathroom and absolutely no heating working during our stay. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, I’ve got to say.

Disappointing stay

Disappointing stay – poor conditions and lack of professionalism. I’m writing this review to share my honest experience, as unfortunately my stay did not meet even basic expectations. The main issue was the condition of the room. The bathroom had visible mould (although the staff claimed it was not mould – I will attach photos so others can judge for themselves). The overall bathroom condition was poor and far from what I would consider acceptable. The room itself was also very cold. There was a noticeable gap in the window frame, which likely contributed to the temperature problem. Additional
