Air con didn’t work and reception took £25 cash off me as a holding charge (said Apple Pay not acceptable) when I had already pre paid for the room

Tired hotel with disinterested service

A sad and tired hotel both in decor and service. The walls were scuffed and marked, furnishings felt like they were from the 1990s (only one side of the bed had a bedside light and no USB charging socket) and the staff always seemed too busy doing something else to help. Honestly a professional painter could have improved our room in an hour and a half! In its favour the rooms were clean (apart from the scuffed walls and furniture) and it is close to some really nice restaurants and bars (hence the 2 stars)

Excellent and caring staff

The hotel was lovely the room was nice weirdly shaped. The staff were caring. Would go back again . Very clean. Food was lovely. The only thing was that they never sold alcohol. Because of there region

What an amazing experience! 😍

We came to this hotel after being scammed by Airbnb in the middle of the night in London. From the moment we entered the hotel, the staff were incredibly caring and understanding about what had just happened to us. They booked us a perfect room and paid attention to every detail. The hotel itself is wonderful, with beautiful and clean rooms, amazing staff, and a tasty breakfast. The location was perfect for our visit, as it is close to many tourist attractions and well connected by public transport. We truly felt at home and will definitely choose this hotel again on our next trip to London.
