Everything we needed for a one night stay, would stay again.

Staff were really friendly and helpful. Lovely location. Reasonable breakfast.

Weekend visit

Pros: The location to our visit and the amount of tea/coffee etc in the room Cons: Having to try and wash up cups and fill the kettle - which also hadn't been emptied by the housekeeping before we arrived - in a tiny sink in a shared bathroom. Although the room was clean and tidy there was a very dusty atmosphere throughout the building especially down the side fire exit, for someone with asthma it was terrible to walk through.

Much better than just a functional room to stay overnight

Pros: Characterful pub in historic Botley High Street, with very friendly staff. Cons: Obviously a bit noisy on Saturday evening with world cup going on, also door connecting with the adjacent room allowed neighbours to be heard clearly.

Is a live music venue. Very loud

Pros: Is a live music venue. Very loud till 12pm then music till 1am. Red hot shower. Cons: Is a live music venue. Very loud till 12pm then music till 1am. Red hot shower.
