An excellent overnight stay in a modern suite in a lovely old pub and delicious food too!
Pros: This is a lovely traditional old pub with exposed beams and brickwork and very tastefully decorated. We were in an annexe across the road and our room was beautifully decorated with a huge bed and modern bathroom. Nothing was stinted, the bedding was good quality, the towels were big and fluffy and there were plenty of toiletries in the bathroom. We ate dinner in the restaurant which was excellent and good value for money. Breakfast was also excellent with a great choice of dishes. All the staff were on top of their game and the service could not be faulted. Although it wasn't a che
