Everything was perfect, excellent for a weekend getaway
Pros: We really enjoyed our stay. This is one of our favorite hotels now and we would like to come back. The hotel and its surroundings are beautiful, the staff was very nice, and the spa made for a very relaxing trip. The summer champagne garden on property was an excellent addition as well. Cons: We liked everything.

Pros: The hotel is so beautiful and the facilities are fantastic for a relaxing stay. The staff are so helpful and couldn't do enough to make sure we enjoyed our stay. I just wish I could stay for longer. Cons: The spa facilities are excellent and make for a relaxing experience.
Perfect for a short break away
Pros: Lots to compliment with staff, the room, the pool and gym. Great location with superb views for evening walks. On your doorstep you have a 10 minute train to city centre. Cons: Evening meals were not at the level of everything else

I will not choose to stay in this hotel again.
Pros: The gardens were beautiful. The hotel and room were clean. Cons: It was a very old-fashioned place, which is okay if that's your style. However, I was disappointed to see that there were no modern conveniences in the suites such as USB charging ports or plug changers. Some of the staff were friendly, while others less so. The location is not as described as it is located off an extremely busy road. I expected and paid for a garden view, but it was actually just a view of a car park.
