Can’t wait to go back!
Pros: This was our second stay at The Elvetham, and this time we stayed in the Stables, which we enjoyed; albeit the main hotel building is of incomparable grandeur. We love the hotel’s incredible history. The 5 km walk around the grounds is one of the highlights of staying here - absolutely beautiful. Cons: The shower was clogged, and the water wasn’t draining properly. That said we did not report it to the reception.
A quiet and beautiful spot, with outstanding service
Pros: All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Our stay was during the hottest day of the recent heatwave, and our room was uncomfortably hot when we arrived. When we asked for help with this, the housekeeping staff spared no effort in finding mobile air conditioning units and fans for the room, giving us a comfortable night. The buildings and grounds were lovely, including a shady garden with deck chairs provided. The food and service at dinner and breakfast were excellent. Cons: Nothing

A fairytale castle
Pros: Wonderful Architecture and Tradition, nice room (had one in the stable), a very delicious dinner and breakfast! Cons: There was a slight musty smell in the room, possibly coming from the air conditioning.
