Enjoyed my stay despite the heat!
Pros: Lovely central location in a lively part of town. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Very comfy bed. Staff happily arranged a taxi for the following morning for me.
Cons: This is an old historic property. Lots of very steep stairs. Fans were provided, but in the heatwave it was still very warm. The pub does not serve food (but there are several other places to eat in the same area or you can order in.)

Great location perfect for one night prior to boarding our cruise from the local docs other than that it’s a nice quaint
Pros: Location.
Cons: Stairs!!! And no fan in our room - unseasonably hot and despite having the window open, there was simply no breeze, making the room very uncomfortable. Additionally, our room faced out over Oxford Street and be a Friday night. The noise from the crowd downstairs was horrendous plus lots of doors, banging and marching up and down the staircase, but for one night we put up with it, but I doubt I would stay here again unfortunately it’s just too noisy..

A friendly welcome, and handy to have a pub downstairs!

Pros: Staff were very friendly and on top of any concerns or questions I had
Pros: Staff were very friendly and on top of any concerns or questions I had. Great location. Room was small but it was all I needed.
Cons: The stairs tried to kill me! Actually, my over packed luggage and my out of condition body did that! Loved the place
