We have stayed at the Lansdowne Strand before, and like the hotel and its location
We have stayed at the Lansdowne Strand before, and like the hotel and its location. The Arkell's beer (a favourite) is well kept. The only disappointment this time was that we arrived back at 10 past 10 in the evening to find the bar closed, even to residents. A shame, as one of the reasons for choosing the hotel was the splendid pint of Arkell's (see above).

Single bed was as rock hard and very uncomfortable
Single bed was as rock hard and very uncomfortable. Interior of this beautiful building needs complete refurbishment.
