Perfekt für einen Zwischenstopp
Wir waren wegen der guten Lage (15 Minuten zur Fähre in Dover) 2024 erstmals in The Lydden Bell gelandet. Seitdem nutzen wir diese Unterkunft immer wieder gerne für eine Nacht vor/nach der Überfahrt. Man ist in kleinen seperaten Häuschen untergebracht, die Umgebung ist dörflich/ruhig. Das Personal ist sehr nett, das Frühstück klasse und wer will kann im dazugehörigen Pub noch ein Bier oder etwas leckeres zu essen bekommen.

Schöner historischer Pub mit modernen Zimmern und gutem Essen
Pros: Nettes Pub wenige Kilometer hinter Dover, ideal für einen Zwischenstopp nach oder vor der Fährüberfahrt. Wir hatten ein sehr großes schickes Familienzimmer, das fast an eine Ferienwohnung erinnerte. Es gab sogar einen Außensitzplatz. Die Betten waren sehr bequem. Das Frühstück im Pub und das Essen abends waren toll. Wir würden gerne wieder hier übernachten. Cons: Alles gut.
