Perfect for our purpose- concert at the NEC.
Pros: Quirky old pub . Nice rooms but small. Good cooked breakfast. Lovely outdoor seating area. Helpful and friendly staff. Very handy for NEC. Cons: Shame about the noise from the airport and busy road.

The White Lion is a fab location, 4 mins walk to the train station, £6.20 for 2 adults return by train to the NEC. We ate here before the gig and the food was lovely. It's good value and way better than a massive hotel or chain restaurant with no atmosphere. Staff are lovely, room fine. Please bear in mind that it's a really old building so full of character but not accessible for those who might struggle. Excellent value for money and lovely breakfast.
Good value for an overnight stay
Pros: Central for our needs. Nice breakfast. Good friendly service. Room was available on checking in. Cons: Shower was small but ok for an overnight stay.
