Not as great as we expected

Pros: Staff all helpful. Nice village and location. Good carpark space. Nice bar area and good breakfast. Cons: TBH I upgraded the room to make it a nice occasion. The room was one of the older rooms, in the apex of the roof and so very hot. It was also immediately above the beer garden. The paint work - especially on the stairs - was sticky and marked and the rooms had a bit of a musky smell. In fairness there were a number of newer rooms which I'm sure were better and friends had stayed previously and were very positive. I would have just provided this feedback to someone when we left, but
