It hosts Hobart Hurricanes Big Bash nights and the occasional international. The ferry across from Brookes Street to Bellerive Quay beats the drive over the Tasman Bridge. Stay around Salamanca Place or the waterfront for the restaurants and the harbour, and take the boat over on match day.
