Hotels for Nations Championship: Wales v New Zealand

Cardiff hosts Wales against the All Blacks on Saturday 14 November 2026 — the fixture every Welsh fan circles first, at the Principality Stadium with the roof closed and 'Hen Wlad Fy Nhadau' at full throat. Wales against New Zealand is one of rugby's oldest and most storied rivalries, and however the form book reads, an All Blacks day in Cardiff is an occasion like nothing else in the sport.

The stadium sits in the middle of the city, so the whole day happens on foot between hotel, pub and seat. Book as early as you can — All Blacks weekends sell Cardiff out — and stay central for the full, unforgettable match-day experience.

Wales's national stadium sits dramatically in the heart of Cardiff, its retractable roof rising above the River Taff, hosting rugby and football internationals plus the biggest touring concerts. Few major venues are so central: the stadium stands in Cardiff city centre, with Cardiff Central station to the south and the bars, shops and restaurants of St Mary Street to the east.

Cardiff Central station is a short walk away, linking across Wales and to England. Booking a room in the compact centre means you can walk to the event through the pre-match buzz and back again afterwards.
