About Placebo - 30th Anniversary Tour

Three decades on from their first records, this tour marks a band still built around the same brooding, guitar-driven songs that made them a fixture of alternative rock. A milestone anniversary show like this tends to pull in longtime fans who followed the band through every era, so expect a set drawing across their whole catalogue rather than just the recent material. Sunday night crowds for this kind of gig are often older and more attentive, settling in for the songs rather than treating it as a rowdy night out.

Where to stay nearby

Antwerpen itself is the obvious base, sitting right at the venue with by far the widest choice of hotels in the area, so most visitors will simply stay in the city and make their way out on the night. Beveren, just 10km off, is a smaller and quieter option with a handful of hotels if Antwerpen is full or pricier than you'd like. Brussels, an hour or so away by road, works well for anyone combining the concert with a longer city stay or arriving via the capital's better international transport links, with a straightforward train or drive through to Antwerpen on the day.
