Reading Festival 2026 — this event has finished

Reading Festival returns to Richfield Avenue for four days across the August bank holiday weekend, the southern half of the country's longest-running rock weekender. Fontaines D.C., Dave, Florence + The Machine, Charli XCX, Chase & Status and RAYE headline in 2026, and the site has been reworked with new stages including The Grid, The Warehouse and The Yard.

The arena sits beside the Thames barely a mile from Reading station, which makes it one of the very few major British festivals you can reasonably attend from a hotel bed rather than a tent. Anyone who would rather not camp works that out quickly, which is why Reading's rooms go long before the line-up is complete.
