Gorgeous hotel with a quaint rooms, friendly and helpful staff and all the amenities for a beach vacation.
Pros: The lodge was cute and vintage. The decor inside was cozy. The location was prime. Having beach chairs, towels and bikes available are wonderful! Plus the cookies and drinks were wonderful. We loved our room. Cons: It would be nice to have a fridge in our king room, but there was one near our room we could use.

Five star experience
Absolutely perfect experience. It was recommended by some friends and we have recommended to friends and family! Lovely happy hour, and delicious homemade breakfast! Staff could not have been more professional or more welcoming. The rooms and the beds were beyond comfortable . Highest recommendation from experience travelers!

A great Fourth of July holiday at the 1906 Lodge
The only negative that I have is the parking situation. They have a garage that cost $30 per night to park in, if there’s room. The garage was full and there was no parking anywhere within a quarter mile therefore we parked about a 1/2 mile away. That being said it was the Fourth of July weekend on an island. Our room was spacious and comfortable with a large bathroom with a large shower. We had a small balcony where we enjoyed our morning coffee. Breakfast was available with inside or outside seating. We ate outside, where we were served mimosas, on a covered porch with in a courtyard with a
