Lovely BnB in the West Sussex countryside, great host, room, breakfast, and idyllic location

We had a lovely stay with host Lizzie recently, immaculately clean room, excellent breakfast, very quiet location in a lovely valley in West Sussex, with a lovely dinner in the garden of the local Fox Goes Free pub on a perfect summer evening.

'Old school' B&B - definitely someone's home - which I rather like, plus chatting to other guests in the breakfast room. Addition of a new puppy quite fun too, as well as nesting swallows under the eaves right outside the window! Cons: In case others are bothered about this (I am not, I thought it was lovely): It is a person's regular home, so not sound insulated like a purpose built place might be, and there are other guests in adjoining rooms. I had sole use of a bathroom but it is not ensuite (I wrapped mysel

Amazing find near Goodwood racecourse

Pros: Absolutely wonderful host. Our room was clean and spacious. Lovely touches like fresh milk for the tea and coffee provided in the room, plenty of shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom and a brilliant full English breakfast. Very comfy bed and would highly recommend . Cons: Nothing - was perfect.
