Clean and safe and close to the centre of town and the shore, but not a 4 star property by any stretch. Furniture was cheap and old fashioned (but not in a vintage way). Bedroom had two bedside lamps but only one plug. Breakfast was served in the Dunvegan (sister property two doors down). Staff were somewhat uninterested though helpful enough. Quality of food was mid to low. Definitely not good value at £186 a night - even though St Andrews is ridiculously expensive to stay in. Seems odd that it was more expensive than normal AND unstaffed that night. Couldn't really recommend it on a vfm p
