Another Fantastic Stay!!
Pros: Sue and Troy provide a wonderful peaceful base from which to go out and do what needs to get done when in Windsor. We love coming back and resting in our wonderful Loft, sipping some wine and enjoying Sue's amazing home baked cookies. This is still the only B&B, that we have stayed at, that allows you to choice the type of breakfast you want. Some days you just want a light breakfast and other days the more robust offerings. Love that ability to choose and the food is fantastic!! We took the opportunity on this visit to walk the neighbourhood, visit the books stores and experience t

Awesome location, lovely hosts, walkable to Caesars; terrific breakfasts & easy to get to Detroit
Pros: Awesome neighborhood - Walkerville - food, restaurants, bakeries, bars - all easily walkable. Can walk to the entire downtown area. Close to Caesar's where we saw a concert, and we walked to it. Loved staying here (just two of us) vice a big hotel in the town area. Easy to pop through the tunnel to do stuff in Detroit. Awesome breakfasts, welcoming hosts who are very helpful with info and recommendations. Large & spotless room.
Cons: NA. Everything was great...happily stay again; note, one of the rooms, the Suite in the loft, has a lot of stairs to climb to get to it. Not an issue for us

Lovely surroundings, great hospitality and very relaxing!
Pros: The Hidden Gem is a great bed and breakfast tucked in the Walkerville area, which as cute shops and fantastic restaurants. We have stayed at the Hidden Gem many times, and it is always a "10!" The owners are wonderful people and stay on the property, so anything you need they help with. The breakfasts ( and fresh cookies) are absolutely amazing!!
Cons: Can't think of a thing!

Whenever we go back to Windsor we know exactly where we'll be staying.
Pros: Location was fabulous. 4 minutes to Casino by car, 10 minutes by bus and stops are very close walking. Close to scenic riverfront. Beautiful century old neighborhood and gorgeously maintained B&B. Lots of locally owned shops, restaurants etc. within very walkable distance. Hosts Troy and Sue were extremely hospitable and enjoyable. Very relaxed. Breakfast was incredible and included.
Cons: We were only in town one night. Would love to have had a couple extra days to stay and enjoy the Hidden Gem a few more days and explore the area. Our stay was simply too short.
