AC Sparkles!
This hotel is great. It's in a perfect location in Inverness. Our room overlooked the river, so we had a great view. The breakfast was very good. It offered a lot of choices. We had dinner there one night, which was also good. The staff was excellent - Ross and Rinna took great care of us.

Would recommend.
Pros: Size of room, location, and breakfast buffet. Those people were on it. Cons: The white chairs are not a good idea. So many of them were stained and looked really sad.

Stunning hotel
Pros: Stunning hotel and rooms. Great location and cocktails. Cons: Exceptionally hard mattress made for a difficult sleep.

Need for improvement
We have been Marriott members for 20+ years. Upon check-in, I reminded the receptionist of my requests posted on my Marriott profile (high floor, away from elevator, quiet room). So we go up to the top floor and our room is right across from the elevator. Went back down to reception and they said that's all they had and the noise shouldn't be that bad. They also said my requests only go to the corporate Marriott site and not individual hotels. We had just traveled from the W Marriott in Edinburgh where we were treated like royalty. Woke up the next morning to construction hammering right next
