Enjoyable stay and would definitely return

Pros: Fabulous location and a very comfortable home from home. Easy to reach Aviemore, Inverness, Loch Ness, Balmoral, Culloden, various Whiskey Distilleries etc Great walks virtually on your doorstep and many activities nearby eg horse riding, clay pigeon shooting, fishing, archery. Good sized garden with the big advantage is that it is very dog friendly with a stock/barbed wire fence although in the race case you have 'jumper' might not be high enough! Memorable stay in the beautiful Aviemore countryside

Pros: Beautiful views and house interiors. Amazing location - rural but still close to everything. Extremely well organised and responsive host (even during Christmas!) with great welcome pack and everything you could need in the house. Cons: Nothing - it was perfect and every detail was planned for. One thing to note if travelling in winter is to have the appropriate car. We were unable to fully enter the driveway during Storm Gerrit, but it was 100% due to the poor tires & 2WD of our rental car not being able to get a grip on the packed snow/ice.
