Fantastic location right in the heart of Christchurch
Fantastic location right in the heart of Christchurch. Upgraded to a 2 bedroom unit which was huge. Older style property but beautifully restored, well heated and very comfortable.

Wonderful stay
Wonderful stay. Walking distance to the shops. Very comfortable beds. Valet parking. Wonderful customer service. 24h service desk. Very pleased we chose this hotel and will certainly stay again!

The former government building was a unique experience due to its history and architecture
The former government building was a unique experience due to its history and architecture. It felt quite grand with the high ceilings, spacious living area, the beds were upstairs in a loft that had windows over looking the living area and we enjoyed having two bathrooms and the kitchen was well equipped. The room had wall heaters but felt a little cold. There was a bit of difficulty with the hotel accessing the payment from Expedia which caused some stress when we were signing in, however after having to access the Expedia support chat twice it was resolved. We chose to pay $30NZD for valet
