Great place to stay in Zanzibar /Stone Town - at an affordable price

Pros: Very nice atmosphere, great roof terrace for breakfast and dinner. Great historic interior, spa just in the opposite building, perfect location. Well maintained and super friendly staff!! Cons: Of course it's in the old town and roads are narrow - so, don't expect a view out of your room. But, it's an amazing historic building, well maintained and has lovely interior. I missed a glass of red wine / beer at the roof top restaurant (unfortunately they have no license)

Pros: Γοητευτικό ξενοδοχείο με αραβική αρχιτεκτονική σε κεντρικό σημείο της Stone Town. Ικανοποιητικό πρωινό που σερβίρεται σε βεράντα με θέα την πόλη. Cons: Το μπάνιο χρειάζεται ανακαίνιση.

Definitely not again!

Pros: The only positive thing might be the central location. However, it is also very loud in the evenings. Music and background noise until at least 1:00 am. Did not like anything, actually! Cons: The breakfast was a disaster. The offering, comparable to Cuba - almost nothing! The butter caused stomach & intestinal problems. My choice was two well-done fried eggs and a slice of dry toast. Also, I didn't like the used rubber bath flip-flops, the crooked toilet seat, the peeling plaster in the shower, the poor TV reception, and so on.

Pros: Das einzige Positive mag die zentrale Lage sein. Allerdings ist es dadurch abends auch sehr laut. Musik und Nebengeräusche bis mindestens 1.00 Uhr Nachts. Gefallen, hat eigentlich gar nichts! Cons: Das Frühstück war eine Katastrophe. Das Angebot, vergleichbar mit Kuba - so gut wie nichts! Die Butter so schon nach Magen & Darm Probleme aus. Meine Entscheidung, zwei gut durchgebratenen Spiegeleier und eine Scheibe trockenen Toast. Was mir auch nicht gefallen hat, waren die gebrauchten Gummi-Bade-Flipflops, die schiefe Toilettenbrille, der abgeblätterte Putz in der Dusche, der schlechte T

Pros: Localita is good. Cons: It was difficult to walk around the bed because it almost filled the whole width of the room. The windows faced the next building (1m away), which was very close, making the room dark. They were reconstructing the neighboring building, so there was a lot of noise during the day. I had to ask for a towel: I asked for 2, they gave me 1.
