Aliz Hotel Times Square

Cons: My first night at the Aliz hotel was terrible. I show up around 5:30 for check in and the men at the counter were extremely nice. However, I had to stand in line for around 15 minutes to use the elevator to get to my room. Once I finally made it to my room and was ready to go out and tour the city I stood in front of the elevator waiting for it to come for 10 minutes. I heard the elevator stopping below our floor and above our floor but never stopped at the 35th floor. This made it impossible for time management as we were already late to dinner reservations. Wonderful stay with thoughtful touches

Pros: Great hotel, will definitely return. Very nice touches like mini fridge, handheld steam iron, cleverly designed clothing and storage spaces. Unexpected perk to get welcome drinks in the lobby bar and some credit to spend at the lobby minimart. Wonderful rooftop bar called Dear Irving with stunning panorama views out to the water. Staff was top tier - courteous, helpful, and creative. Cons: Hotel prices across the city were insane the week of my stay. This was due in part to a long bank holiday weekend, so the inflation was not isolated to Aliz, but the price point was way too high. The

Elevator suck !! Not just one day, EVERY Day

Pros: Even though the room is tiny, it was very nice. TV doesn’t work. Cons: Elevators was a NIGHTMARE !! Everyday, waited 1/2 hours just to get inside an elevator. The last day, I had to ride up to get in. One of my friend, literally waited one hour. Missing appts

Pros: Muy bien localizado para conocer todos los barrios de NYork, sin estar demasiado lejos. El Centro, caminando . Las vistas desde nuestras habitaciones, El servicio hispano muy majos y correctos. Cons: La gente de recepción regular, sobre todo la encargada del primer día (será porque éramos españoles) . Teníamos pagadas dos habitaciones , desayuno incluído, una para dos personas y la otra (superior) para tres. Sorpresa que en la de tres sólo había servicios para dos.
