Altstadthotel Fürth

Pros: Relatively old hotel with thin walls and little blackout. In itself, it is not a bad hotel, close to the center, but nothing special. Cons: The mattress was very soft. Not all windows have shutters. Thin walls.

Affordable stay if you just want to spend the night.

Uncomplicated check-in, quiet location in the city center, friendly staff, rooms are not particularly noisy - the hotel cannot be blamed for loud night owls and slamming doors.

A good and central accommodation for a short trip - without much frills.

Pros: Very quiet location, parking available in the backyard; entrance accessible via inner courtyard; Fortunately, there was a phone number on the door, called there and received the access code to our key. Granted, the romance lies in the slightly sloping floors, the small kitchenette, the staircase... But all in all, I would recommend this hotel if you are just looking for a base to visit Nuremberg. Less than a 10-minute walk away is a U-Bahn that takes you directly to Nuremberg. Modest but correct breakfast. And free parking at the hotel! Cons: A shower head that has seen better days.
