Historic Charm in the Perfect New Orleans Location!

We loved our stay at the Andrew Jackson Hotel! The location was perfect, within easy walking distance of the French Quarter, Bourbon Street, restaurants, shops, and so much of what New Orleans has to offer. I especially love staying in historic hotels, and this one has so much character, charm, and history. Our room was clean, comfortable, and surprisingly quiet at night considering how close we were to everything. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. We loved the beautiful courtyard and the authentic New Orleans atmosphere of the hotel, it truly added to the ex

Pros: The location, the air conditioning. Cons: The hotel has somewhat old facilities

Pros: The location, the air conditioning. Cons: The hotel has somewhat old facilities. Difficulty in opening and closing the entrance and room doors. The general condition of the bathroom. No light in front of the sink. The 2 beds are very small, 180 cm long by 140 cm wide.

Great night !!!

From check-in to check-out, the staff was amazing! Leon met us at the door and was an amazing host. He even tried to get us into room 208 (thank you Leon). The stay was only one night but was perfect and the 'hotel' did not disappoint (Armand and Walter thanks for an interesting night). We will definitely be back and maybe even get to stay in 208!!!

Awesome place to stay!

The Andrew Jackson hotel has all the charm of New Orleans in a location convenient to everything you want to do. The rooms are tastefully decorated and the 'haunted' rooms still contain the chandeliers known to house the spirits (and yes, weird things that can’t be explained did happen while we were there!) The air conditioning worked well in the summer heat and there is a beautiful secluded courtyard to sit in to enjoy the warm nights. Bourbon Street is a short walk away as is the French Market area.

Pros: Great location, beautiful place, AC worked amazing! Once we got the door pads figured out, coming and going went smoothly. Cons: Bathroom is very small

Pros: Great location, beautiful place, AC worked amazing! Once we got the door pads figured out, coming and going went smoothly. Cons: Bathroom is very small. Shower water was scalding hot regardless of what we tried. No storage since the room was so small. Parking offsite wound up being an issue, but that's not really their problem.
