Pros: Spacious apartment with all the essentials covered. Convenient access to the south train station and metro. Blocked out most of the street noise well. Cons: Not the best part of town, a lot of people hanging around late night, sirens, litter. Might consider a bit nicer neighborhood if I was a solo female traveler. Didn't find an automated temperature control for the heater, so just had to turn off the radiators and open the windows to try and cool the place down.
Spacious room with great location.
Pros: The room (Apartment Lisa) suited our needs perfectly! The location was excellent, being a short and easy walk to the Brussels Midi Train station, plus the room was spacious and the beds were comfy. Two high quality fans kept us as cool as possible (we went during a 38 degree heatwave...) and the kitchen had everything we needed for quick evening meals. The wi-fi was good and there was lots of charging ports available for charging devices. Cons: The apartment lacked storage space for longer trips, although was fine for short breaks.
